she is known as a mezzo-soprano's singer. She burst onto the pop scene with a naturally skilled voice ranging from powerful and soulful to sweet and gentle,

Bareilles' single, "Love Song" was certified 2x platinum in April 2008.

Her Next album, entitled Little Voice which is released in July 2007, covered her past relationships, insecurities, and inner battles with trying to trust her instincts.
